Welch Senior Living Celebrates Remarkable Milestones at 2025 Associate Awards Dinner

Welch Senior Living recently hosted its 2025 Associate Awards Dinner, a tradition that brings together associates from across the company’s communities to celebrate years-of-service milestones and honor the dedication of team members who help create exceptional experiences for residents and their families.

This year’s event was especially meaningful as it highlighted the remarkable service of Tom Nolan, who marked an extraordinary 47 years with Welch Senior Living. Tom served as the evening’s emcee, graciously presenting awards to his fellow associates, a full-circle moment that reflected his enduring commitment and genuine care for the Welch Senior Living team.

“It has truly been a privilege to spend my career with Welch Senior Living,” shared Nolan. “I’ve had the honor of working alongside incredible people and serving generations of families. This organization has always felt like home to me, and I’m proud to have been part of a team that puts so much heart into everything we do.”

Tom is scheduled to retire in 2026, and his legacy of leadership, kindness, and unwavering dedication was celebrated by his peers and the extended Welch family.

The evening began with a welcome from Paul Casale Jr., Executive Vice President of Welch Senior Living, who set the tone for the celebration:

“Tonight, we are here together to acknowledge the tireless dedication, unwavering commitment, and exceptional contributions of you all who make our communities not just a place to reside, but a warm, caring, and vibrant place to call home. You have gone above and beyond the call of duty, showing compassion, kindness, and professionalism every day.”

As a family-owned and locally based organization serving the South Shore since 1949, Welch Senior Living also paid tribute to its leadership team and generational legacy. In addition to Casale Jr., among those recognized were President Paul Casale Sr. and third-generation Welch family members Leanne Welch, Community Relations Director, and Laurie Welch-Guthrie, MSW, LCSW, CDP, Regional Memory Care Coordinator and Senior Social Worker.

Associates from across all Welch Senior Living communities gathered to mark their milestones, from five years of service to nearly fifty. In addition, Welch Senior Living celebrated the 2024–2025 Associates of the Quarter, recognizing standout contributions throughout the year.

The evening wrapped up with celebration and camaraderie, as associates captured memories in a lively 360° photo booth and danced the night away. As festivities came to a close, one sentiment stood out: the associates of Welch Senior Living are the heart and soul of the organization. Their dedication leaves a lasting impact on residents and families alike, ensuring that all Welch Senior Living communities continue to be places of comfort, care, and meaningful connections.
